Have you ever been in a situation where you don’t know what to do with your kids or parents due to an emergency? What do you do with the siblings if someone needs to go to the hospital or has to be admitted? What do you do if you have a child with special needs and only a select few people that can help you? What do you do if your parents need emergency or nursing home care? Time, people available to help, and financial issues play a big part in all the situations which women are the primary caregivers. These are just a few of the things we face every day.

Being a mother can be a very stressful job. Motherhood has no salary, no sick days, and no vacation but countless benefits such as pure love. There is something that you are always worried about with your kids. Being a mother is learning about strengths you didn’t know you had and dealing with fears you didn’t know existed. Are you doing the best for your kids? Are they happy and healthy? Trying to balance work, school, the house, and any activities that your kids may be involved in can be stressful and overwhelming. Somedays you have no idea how you will do it, but every single day you get it done. You must juggle many appointments and financial stresses, especially if your children have special needs. Mothers of children with special needs must choose appropriate school placement, teacher, and adaptations for their children. Successful mothers are not the ones who have never struggled. They are the ones who never give up, despite the struggles.

We offer a lot of different resources to help women overcome many different financial obstacles that they may face. There never seems to be enough money. How do we protect what we have, but still make it grow? There is a list of different life guides listed on our website that we can email to you. Workshops will be held in the education center. Finances complicate the problem even more. If you feel more comfortable talking one on one about different obstacles that you may be facing, that is also available by sending us an email. We support different community causes such as breast cancer awareness and financial education for children. Overall, we strive to make our community better. Thank you for being part of the solution.
